The general Welding Occupational Endorsement allows students to learn a variety of welding techniques. Applicants must be 16 years of age or older to be admitted or have instructor permission.

Upon completion, students will be able to:
- Demonstrate the ability to produce American Welding Society-compliant welds using Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW).
- Demonstrate the ability to set up and use SMAW, Gas Metal Arc Welding, Flux Cored Arc Welding, Gas Tungsten Arc Welding, and Oxygen-Acetylene Welding processes.
- Apply safety protocols for workspace setup, ventilation, and Personal Protection Equipment use.
